I'd like to personally thank the following staff- Nadine, Mercy, Pete, Cora, Claire, joy, Larisa,
Jo, Ivy, Martha and Emily
Nurses I can't renderer the names of but all do a fantastic job
Have all been incredibly supportive during this time, helping me understand how to relax which is something I have always found really hard to do independently.
All staff have such a toolkit to help with those in distress and take time to learn ways that help each individual. Allowing them time to self soothe or giving them options and activities to keep them entertained
The canteen ladies- mama and Emmanual all help by serving us in such a respectful manner, food is a trigger for me but I always feel so calm doing lunchtimes
All the care that my mum has received has been fantastic
Overall 98% positive experience. Only downsides are beyond ward control, such as smoking policy/ access to garden.
Happy with the treatment and approach of every staff
I have not alway understood what is happening
To help me regain the health what was before.
Because overall it’s the decision of law
The staff I know from previous admission to this ward.
Patients can be challenging at times.
The cleaner did not come to clean the toilet.
But over all I thought I felt as if I had lost or stolen my bank card.
But if not for Martin , who managed to get my card back , I wouldn’t be able to buy my cigarettes and wouldn’t have found my bank card.
Staff were very kind
The staff and the doctors at beechwood ward are well trained and respond appropriately to all patients. I have no complaints about the staff, medication and treatment was given to a very high standard. The efficacy of the treatment was evident in my full recovery and eventual discharge. I’d like to thank the doctors, consultants, nursing and support staff all for their various roles in my holistic recovery. In terms of improvement if there was more staff and staff shortages were addressed better I think that would be good for all, also if available on the NHS psychological interventions and support for patients
